    PLEASE help ASAP (wheel size)

so this has probably been asked about a million times but i couldn't find anything through search. I am looking into getting new wheels for my b5 a4 quattro. Looking at a set of 18x8 rs4 reps that are et42 spacing. I am not sure exactly what this means so is this gonna mean the wheels are going to stick out more, or are they going to possibly rub. Just curious If I will need spacers or if it will fit stock and how it will look.

    Thanks in advance,
    Taylor

Normally we do ET35 to ET40, so the wheels you are looking at may rub a little on the strut. A good test fit will tell you if you need a small spacer or not.
