need some throttle body help!

ok so as some of you may know i just did a gt2871r elim on my car with chris tapp tune and for the most part dont have too many problems. One thing i did run into was bad throttle response when you quickly get on the gas at idle, and a TB code that is leading me to believe that this may be the problem. The code was 17967 - Throttle Valve Control part (J338): Fault in basic settings
P1559 - 35-00 - -.....i logged block 60 and got an error for adaption so i tried to re-adapt it again through vag-com, still nothing. Then i tried to manually adapt it by disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting the battery and turning the key to the on position. I could hear the throttle body buzzing noise, the same it made when i have done this in the past but still got an error and still got the code. I can clear the code but it flashed off the screen then immediately flashes back on even if the cars not running. So my question to you guys is, is my TB shot or is there something else going on here. any help would be great, i need this thing fixed asap!

had the same problem when i got my giac chip. what worked for me was i took of the TB and cleaned it then put it back on hooked up the vag and it was able to do the adaption.

Are you using block 060 or bock 098 to do the throttle adapt with the Vagcom?

Could be an issue with the programming inside the chip. Seems like some of his tunes aren't fully finished for the version ECU they are put into, because your not the first person that I know of that has had problems doing a throttle adapt on their ndbw car using a CTapp tune.
