New owner saying hello to the Avant cult. Just picked up my brand new 2008 A4 Avant Manual full S-line package! Wasn't easy to get this car. After deciding the new 2009 A4 Avant S-line wasn't worth the $45k (no manual, uninspiring MPG, and no clear answer on the delivery timeframe) I went hunting for a 2008. Only two manual s-line Avants available on the east coast! I scored one (in my backyard no less) and the other sold the same weekend. Got a smokin' deal and the dealer bought me out of my 2007 BMW 328xi Coupe lease as well. Wasn't crazy about the silver but it is growing on me. Would have liked a black on black with titanium but beggars can't be choosers.
Wish I could post pictures, however I can't seem to figure out how to do it. That will be my first question. I have tried imbedding HTML from Flickr and using the URL link above... no dice.
Mild mods planned: Debadge (done), 35% Tint, others un-named in public forums. More photos after the mods.
