Well after 3 days of my car sitting in the shop getting the ssac turbo back installed i got it back today. But everything is not all good now my coolant light is blinking but im not leaking coolant or anything. Do you guys have any suggestion? Can it be my coolant temp sensor? LMk thanks in advance.

i had the same thing after a timing belt job, all that happened was the coolant was mixed a little rich, my mechanic told me this might happen and to just top it off with a little distilled water.

Although, a coolant issue with down pipe install, shouldnt not happen as the two are unrelated.

check the wiring on the bottom of the coolant tank. mine was very brittle and broke. so it was telling me my coolant was too low.

isnt the sensor in the coolant tank? check the wiring. they prob moved the tank to get to the 02's and downpipe heat shields.

alright i really apreciate your guys help. Im really thankful for this forum i went back to the shop i know they had to do it. Because b4 my car went in there it was fine when it came out. It came out with a blinking cooloant light a cracked driver side engine cover and one zip tie on my coolant tank instead of a screw. So is it cool if i roll with the blinking light for now because i dont see no leaks or nothing my coolant level is still at max and if i would to fix it how should i do so? LMk thanks im gonna check the sensor tomorrow after work when the car cools down.

i bet the sensor is just not plugged in. just lift up the coolant tank (after removing 2 screws and one zip tie..heh) and see if it's plugged in. $10 says it isn't
