Need 2009 Audi B8 Dealership Sale Date

Does anybody know the actual date that this car will be available for purchase from the dealerships. Im getting all kinds of dates thrown around and my dealership cant even give me a good number. I got that letter in the mail that Im sure a bunch of you guys got here stating that Audi will pay the remainder of my lease payments and give me 2500 towards another Audi if I get it by Sept. 2nd. The only car I would consider is the 2009 A4. But I dont know if it will be out by then...
Thoughts?

is this from the dealer, the offer I mean.

if so, maybe go to him and see if you can put in an order for just the one you want, sign the papers now and cash in on the promotion, but wait to complete the transaction?

might not even take that much... dealers are pretty desperate these days, though maybe not on B8 A4s... cant hurt to ask.

they have the ugliest color combo's and packages.

I saw one being taken on a test drive on my way home last night. They will probably start popping up all over the country soon enough.

^Thats because Audi gave us those cars... they have no concept of what americans will like...

The Offical Date for Our Dealership is Sept 19th 2008. We have demos however that is the offical date of first sale here.

i know you can order the b8 in stick in nov. production is said to start late jan.

was at the dealer today and they just received two a4s hours before i arrived.. my dad put a deposit on one that is coming in the 25th.. they wont have any numbers on the car until sept. 1st but they are able to sell him the car that day

They just arrived at the Halifax auto port a couple days ago..... they were all covered up but there were tons of them (Port for most/ if not all of Canada)

Dealers know what their first allocation of B8's will be. You should be able to put a deposit on one today with delivery mid-Sep. I drove a base model and I'm waiting to do drive one with the sport options and Audi drive select. I wouldn't trade my B7 for a base B8.
