I had a bit of trouble, but overrall it was realllly simple to install. Great look, but I ordered a white gauge, not red. Here's a daytime of the red and not luminated for all to see.

    Re: Install Help..

If you have something to clip the band with, that's the easiest way to get the rubber cover off. I didn't, so I ended up just working it off slowly, pushing it on alternate sides with a screwdriver. The filter should fit between the line to the gauge and the T piece you stick over the manifold port.

I feel like I am missing a tube.

I have the long tube to the gauge, a thinner 3 or so inch piece, and a wider 2 or so inch piece.

I have the T piece along with something that I cannot describe, but came in a bag with the extra 2 hoses called the NewSouth NoBuzz T-Fitting (but it is not a T; the T came in a separate bag with wires, etc.

    Re: Install Help..

The only hose that you should need (for the VMR) is the long one.

Just run the long hose to that port on the intake, splice in the filter at some point.

The big rubber cap thingy goes where you took the stock cap off the manifold, put the straight connector into the cap and attach the hose.

That should do it. I hope that wasn't too confusing.

Oh yeah, when you install the filter the arrow should be pointing towards the back of the car.

Looks good! Is there really any point in installing a boost gauge on a stock car?

to make sure that your car is running how a stock car should run! if you are running low numbers then you know you have a boost leak somewhere!

Humm. I'm trying to save up my money right now and install a chip and Forge DV, but we'll have to see where that leaves me.

Yeah, I was asking for myself. Sorry to hijack the thread.

I saw that you had the REVO chip and that you weren't stock.

I think so, plus companies that make radar detectors usually make a hard-wire kit you can buy to get rid of the cig-lighter cord. Is that a Passport you have? If so, either go to Best Buy or check the manufacturer website for info, but it is usually a very painless process; plus, you already know how to run a cable/cord thru the firewall.
