Does anyone know the part # for the07 s4 caliper spring with the s4 logo on it feedback would be highly appreciated.

Check the Price Straight from Audi. I ended up getting mine for a third of that price. Maybe you will get a friendly parts guys. Part number is Caliper Retaining Spring (2007-02 A4/S4/Cab) 8E0-615-269


Install took 10 mins, pull the wheel and pop old one out and slide new one in.
Is there an S4 brand/spring/something for the rear, I don't think so but thought I would ask?

Why the hell not. It looks awesome and the S4 Calipers from the B6 are the same calipers for the A4 B7 so it's not even faking the funk... ok maybe a little.

That's like saying don't put an RS4 Bumper and Grille on an S4 or A4, again why the hell not, it looks great.

The RS4 grille doesnt say RS4 on it.

Yes I'm serious. The Brakes themselves are a previous S4 part and although the car itself is an A4 doesn't hurt to promote that they used to come with the S4's. I am not trying to convince anyone that I have an S4, that is stupid and ANY half educated Audi enthusiast would be the wiser.
It was the finishing touch to the Stasis Alcon Rotor Upgrade and really completes the brakes as opposed to spending double the money and going BBK.

I do not believe that anyone rolling with Porsche Brake upgrade kits actually gets mistaken for a Porsche and don't think that they should have to Grind down the Porshce bit and repaint them to say otherwise. Only idiots would say 'Oh my god look at that Porsche badge, it must be a limited edition Porsche built by Audi, Oh my that must be rare'.

Ok seriously though I don't entertain, or condone, any flame based wars on topics that are simply subjective opinions. I like the look and do not believe that I am committing any vehicular fashion crime for having a Brake Caliper Retaining Spring that was designed for the Part and adds to the visual appeal of the Wheels. I respect your difference of opinion, duly note it, and disagree. If I owned an S4 I may have a different opinion because someone can so easily copy the look of the S4 brakes without matching the rest of the package and not having to fork out the extra dough for the full meal deal.

Bumping this old thread: Can anyone confirm that the S4 spring clips will fit on stock B7 brakes? I'd like a set to paint and put an Audi logo on. Anyone know of cheaper knockoffs? $50 each is a bit much.

Yea, definitely not worth it. I know other places have them, so look around, you might find a better deal. Check out ebay, you could find some decent knockoffs for cheap i bet. They're only pad clips so nothing super important.

Just get the S4 ones from Audi Parts and paint over them. They cost me under $30 for the pair and this was in Australia, where parts are usually an arm and a leg.

That's the plan, but I can't find them anywhere for less than $50/each. If I could find a pair for $30 I'd do it.
