B7 middle console in B6?

Hey guys,

I have done a search on this and could not find anything. My wife has been bugging me about this since day 1, lol. Does the middle console from a B7 fit in our B6? Reason I am asking is because the B7 has the cup holders in the middle console. We don't ever use our cigarette lighter so I really don't need that if I can replace the middle console out with the B7 which includes the cup holder. Is this possible? I thought I read somewhere that the door panel will fit, but wanted to know if the middle console would fit.

any help is greatly appreciated.

ive pondered this myself. it looks like it will work. The interiors are pretty damn close. Hopefully someone has done it or you should just try it!! :)

Just search for console only in the B6 section.
