Undercar shield replacement

So after I jack up the car today to do some work I find that the plastic dirt shield that protects the underside of the engine is gone. The only thing I can figure is that I lost it when we had some of the bad rains a few weeks ago and I came home late at night after work. I'm going to look at some of the local junkyards to see if they have a wrecked S4 to see if I can pull one. If not, where is another place I could get one or does the same year A4 fit?

I'd leave it off. Mine was gone when I bought my S4 3 years ago and havnt had any problems with it off.

2nd the Passat W8 belly pan, much cheaper. If you want sturdy and don't care about the weight you can get the bulletproof panzer bellypan, that's what I did. Or you can just leave it off, mine's been off for months now (still have to put the panzer on).

Thanks for the info. It's been fine so far and who knows when I actually lost it. There is some other work I need to get done before that.
