DINAN TO BUILD 630 HP M3

Steve Dinan just told MLE that Dinan Cars will build an M3 with the company's just-released 628hp 5.7-liter V-10 stroker engine.

The vehicle will be released in roughly a year, well after the 4.6-liter stroker kit for the new M3 comes out. (Dinan says the stroked M3 should be available no later than the new year).

How the hell did they fit a 5.7 V10 in there?

wasnt there another company that was throwing the V10s in the 3 series bodies? Cant remember the name though.

Maybe you guys should try reading the article.

While other tuners (such as Hartge, Hamann and AC Schnitzer) have dropped the BMW V-10 engine into either the M3 or 335, this stroked engine will make the Dinan M3 the most powerful to date. "We also plan on lightening up the front end so it handles properly," says Dinan.
