Change the hazard switch in the middle of your dash. It contains the blinker relay. They are known to go bad.

You'll have to pull your radio, reach inside the dash to pull down a plastic bar that locks the hazard and other switches in, pull the switch out from behind and then reverse the process. Its not as bad as it sounds if you have radio removal keys.

Hello. If nocturnal's fix does not work, you may want to look at the rear lamp housings for any blown out connect points. I know I changed out a couple brake and turn signal lights to a purple/blue and the capacitors blew out on me, leaving me with intermittent operation. Are both sides of the rear lights going out on you or just one side? Your Audi dealership should give a cursory check on the situation also, before you do anything. Good luck, and tell me how it goes.
