Hey everyone! September is almost here and that means that H2Oi is just around the corner. If you haven't been to H20i before, it's an end-of-summer VW/Audi car show held on the last Sunday in September at the Ocean Downs in Ocean City MD.

This is a really great event to go and meet your fellow enthusiasts, hang out in the AZ tent and look at some nice cars in the show/exhibition area. Many vendors will be onsite and will be offering parts and chipping at reduced costs.

If you would like to signup to park with Audizine, please submit your first/last name and your AZ username (makes it easier for me.). you will also need to submit payment to Audizine via Paypal for your tickets and we will mail them out to you before the show.

Here's the details on Club Parking:

Sunday, September 28th. Cars will be parked in the showfield, separate from the judged event. All cars must be in place by 11:00AM. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Once cars are in place you will not be permitted to leave unless an emergency. You will not be allowed back in once you leave.

Dash receipts will be sent with your club name on it - you pick who parks with your club. All orders must be submitted at one time. *Note - Your car will NOT be judged.

$25 per car - includes admission for car & driver

Another really important item is note is that the tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. Once you've paid for them, they are permanent. I can't get a refund from H2O and therefore neither can you.

So, if you are interested in attending H2O with the Audizine Crew, please send a Paypal Payment of $26.00 to Audizine's Paypal account: [email protected]

When you are filling out the payment window, I will need you to put "H2O Tickets" in the subject line when submitting your payment, as well as including both your real name and your Audizine username in the subject. This will help me keep track of who paid and keep these ticket payments separate from other payments that we receive.

The signup deadline in this thread will be September 10th 2008. After that point we will have ordered the tickets and you will have to buy tickets online.

You read correct... Anyone in club parking will not be judged. Also if club parking, you have to be there BY 11am, and once you leave, you will not be allowed back in. So it comes down to... Do you wanna show, or be in club parking. You can be both

Daft does a great job organizing, you will have a blast parking with the AZ group.. but if you wnat the plastic trophy you'll have to park seperate... I really think they should change that rule but oh well.

^^^ they had the same rules for club parking at Dubs at the Beach.. "can only leave if its an emergency" and we left early no problem. I would think you would be fine leaving before the end.

The rule for parking ANYWHERE inside the "show/vendor area" is once you leave, you cannot come back in. The whole "emergency" thing is just put out there. A way for Jay to kinda control things. He will not stop anyone from leaving... he will stop you from returning...

You can buy them general admission tickets to get in. Then they just ride in your car on the way in the gate.

I talked to Jay about this toady and he said that it's no problem if you want to do Club Parking instead. When you get over to that side of the field, you can just slip over to the club parking area and park. The tickets are both $25 so you're in the clear there.

His only request is that you stop in the H2O office and tell them that you will not be in the show car area so they can scratch you off the list. Otherwise, they'll waste time looking around to locate your car and then give up.

EDIT: I wonder if I should show my car. Problem is I built it with 'stealth' in mind so it won't catch people's eyes in a car show. Hmm.?.


(I'll also need to find somewhere to crash Saturday night. Any good areas nearby where I can throw my sleeping bag down next to my car without getting harrassed?)

If you buy a ticket and decide to give it to someone else, they should be able to use it. We were able to do that last year. I just had to contact Shoup and he fixed it at the gate.

Anyone interested in a cruise, I set up a feeler in the tristate regional that will mostlikely run down the parkway to capemay and jump on the ferry to lewes. If too many people find that too pricey than a turnpike cruise might come out of it. Anyone interested in driving down that saturday early in the am, check out that thread. H2O capemay/lewes cruise is the title. SOrry to thread jack a bit, just trying to get a little group together like the ride in to waterfest. no where near as organized of course lol.

Include Gaston, aka East2.7Six in as well. He'll and I will be cruising down together on Saturday with some other people I'm assuming.

Where are you staying? i would need a place for saturday night only (that is, IF I'm going). I haven't signed up for anything. Thinking of just making stuff up the day of. BUT there's no on-site registration. Hmm.
