How hard is it to modify bumper using fiberglass

So i had replaced my EBAY frountmount(It's in the classifieds for sale) with stock sidemounts. But since i hacked my bumper i want to fix/fill that part back to the way is was. I know nothing about fiberglass, but it would be cheaper than buying a new one.

If you have no experience with fiberglass, make sure you have a shop do it. It's a very dangerous and pain in the ass substance to work with. Might even be better off sourcing an S4 bumper and keeping the rieger for a spare if you ever go back to fmic.

I was thinking that but, no one wants to ship there stok bumper cause it's a pain in the ass and people are asking to much in my opinion. I can't see myself spending 400+ on a stock bumper. But right now it looks like ass

I would go that route. You'll pay a shop that much or be that deep in materials and tools in order to get it right. Personally I HATE working with fiberglass. No matter how many gloves, protective eyewear, masks, arm sleeves I always manage to get some somewhere on me and it burns like a mofo. Not to mention no $29.99 home depot mask is going to protect you from the fumes.

Spend that 193.69 instead of taking years off of your life, or have a professional do it.

Those are the only options I personally would consider.

i just finished my rieger and splattered a bit of resin on my face, and wow that shit really hurts lol. i was laughing and screaming at the same time. but......... now i have to do it all over again!!!! fucking retread flew out from under a car in front of me and destroyed my bumper. my car looked nice for like a whole week total out of the intire summer

Do not use the aftermarket bumper..... you will spend enough to equal a 400 dollar oem bumper to get it to fit right.. thats always how it is.

just spend the money and buy a used OEM for 400.. you will know what im saying when you get that aftermarket crap and the fitment is terrbile unless "remanufactured" means junkyard OEM bumper.. then go for it.

My car wants to feel speacial so i'll also answer this question, Car feels smooth but Vaccum is still around 15-17hg and i can hear the turbo whine from the passenger side at a really low boost. There is something leaking on that side but i can't get to it.

They don't have any pics. Is this a remanufactured stock bumper? i needto see pics, they say you get what you pay for and it has held true so far.

i called about the remanufactured bumpers and what they told me was its a oem bumper that has been wrecked and they just fix them basically. there is a number on the website call for yourself. and deb38 are you going to h2o. since your soooo fast if you are coming down we should run. i would like to see how marcs tune stands up to your super fast car

Did you ask them if the bumper came with the lower grill inserts? I might go this route.

I was trying to narrow down my boost leak possibilities. So i went back to stock. Didn't change the problem. Also i wanted to change the front end back to stock. I want to go STAGE 3 real bad, but with being on Vacation and going to H20 next month and trying to fix other issue's with the car it's not going to happen soon like i want. Plus going back to stock is the best way to go cause if this car doesn't hold up like i want it will be sold, and i'll have to start over but i'm trying to make it work.
