Avant peeps...bike racks?

Who's using what roof-top bike rack with their avant? I need to buy one. First thing is, can you use an aftermarket rack like Yakima, with the OEM roof rails (which I need to buy from the dealer too). Or is there an OEM bike rack?

I'm only familiar with the Yakima Steelhead bike trays. They will only fit on Yakima cross-bars (my set-up).

Ahh, ok...so their cross rails bolt right to our roof rails? Just want to be sure before I go to the Audi dealer and buy a set of OEM cross rails, then buy the Yakima kit finding out I dont need the OEM rails to begin with.

Both Yakima and Thule make feet that attach to the avant roof rails. THey just pinch around the bar, they don't exactly "bolt" to it.

I've got the THule Rapid Aero bars, feet and Echelon bike racks. The feet are the 450r and 47" bars, 43" dont fit.
