I thought I'd put this together. I'm bored and I'd like to make halfassed timeline of my car.

    I bought my second A4 w/ 154,803miles the week before Thanksgiving, 2007.
Condition was 5/10 both internally and externally. I am the 4th owner and probably the one that takes the best care of it. The second owner was involved in a collision, which damaged the front end and what looks like the passenger side. (Pics to follow)

    B5 A4 1.8T 5Sp Quattro, Sport Package w/ heated cloth seats, cruise, ...

First repair: T-stat was stuck open, so I drove home from buying the car w/ no heat.

Only pic I can find of the car that's decent, of when she's stock.

First Mod: TT 12.3" slotted Rotors (ECS Tuning) and carriers.

After that I lose track of the order, but here's the list of mods and parts I've put on this "beauty":

    TT Slotted front rotors
    Slotted Rears
034 Street Density Engine and transmission mounts + front snub mount.
    TestPipe (eBay) 2.5"
    Techtonics 2.5" downpipe
    3" mandrel DP-back
    GReddy Full Auto Turbo Timer
Unitronics Stage 1+ 93 Octane reflashed ECU
    Forge Recirculating Diverter Valve 007P.
    Spec Stage 2+ Clutch
    Spec Billet Steel 16 LWFW
    Euro Effects 8K HID's
    Stainless Steel Braided Brake lines
    Stewart Warner gauges
    ECS timing belt kit
New South Performance FilterPort and TriLED's
    Hotchkis H-Sport Sway Bars - 35mm Front/22.5mm Rear.
Center Diff Mod, TBR 4:1 instead of 2:1

    Playing, mostly stock

Car was chipped @ 157-158K after being bone stock for 10 years.
This of course led to full exhaust and modded stock intake. Next day, guess what? the clutch slipped real bad. So that got upgraded.

Somewhere in that timeframe the snow started melting so fitted the S4 wheels and Falken Azenis in preparation for AutoX.

Then is snowed again, so into the garage it went to fix the rust behind the paint.

    painted the wheels.

Roommate sanding the Vette wheels. I was taking a break.

This is due to the accident the second owner was in, but got repaired by some shit head.

The solution. Prep it for the next couple years of it's life and use bedliner up to the BSM's height and fix the holes that were there.

    Relatively finished product

Snow dried up, so I launched the crap out of it. There was a stress crack in the diff carrier previous to this event that I did not know about.

Let the AutoX begin!!! Before sway bars

In this area, we had a house fire, totaling the house that I lived in. Insurance check bought some of the mods from here on out.

I don't think I have any rolling shots or after the sway bars

Recarpeted the package tray as it was all nasty and faded

Wheel teaser, there's a set of Toyo RA-1's that go with them. But the wheels have to be straightened.

HID install and started the FMIC. The Core has since been removed as it is not being used right now.

I forget exactly when, but I painted this. It was painted before the fire, and was in the basement, so it survived.

    Stewart Warner Gauges installed.

    Installed K03s and ran a 14.9 @ 90mph on a 78* and 80% humidity day

Ported intake manifold and throttle body. Done @ the same time as my timing belt, water pump, etc.

I don't I've modded anything else since then.
So here's a shot from the cruise (800miles) to Waterfest 14.

    Headlights in the rearview.

Awesome time line and you certainly brought her back to speed after years of neglect. Nice work and +1 for originality on the bedliner, it looked good in person.

    Re: B5A4 Silver Saloon.

    thanks.

Thought I'd put a quick update on the car. I raced it twice in one weekend, once down the drag strip and once around Grattan Raceway.
I ran a 14.63 @ 92.81 MPH, and I ran low 1:50's around Grattan Raceway on stock sport suspension and all season tires.
