    anyone with 6000k d1s bulbs? /rant

i have had two sets of 6000k d1s bulbs on my car, the first set about a year ago. One of the bulbs was discolored, swapped housings to make sure it wasn't the ballast, etc. sent them back, the store didnt have any more in stock so i went back to stock.

Last week i ordered a set from another seller, and installed them today to the exact same issue! One of the bulbs was more yellowed than the other, so i took them back out and am seeking a replacement. Has anyone had any luck with 6000k bulbs (d1s) if so, where did you get them from and how much?

i am not talking about a hid kit, i am talking about replacing the oem 4300k bulbs.

ughhh. my car has the gross halogen housings on until i can get a replacement and figure out why my driver side city light only works when it wants to.

i try to buy the most legit bulbs i can for a decent price. the first set was from theretrofitsource.com which is well known for the quality of their products/retrofits. the other bulb was very nice and had perfect output, but they didnt have any in stock so they gave me a refund. this set now is from a seller on the bay who has good feedback with the other sets they have sold and is in the US.
the only philips bulbs i can find are on ebay from some random honk kong seller for $250.

ill see what the seller says, but they dont give refunds to open products, like most. :/

they do come with a 1 year warranty though, which is good.
