Being used it shouldn't have to settle, are you sure you got the springs in the saddles correct?

    Thats sport suspension?
it looks like the OEM B6 non sport a4. pretty much like how my a4 looked when I first bought it.

could it be the weight difference from the b7 to b6?

the struts were the red ones and the springs were shorter than the ones that came off by about an inch and a half

Was that suspension from a B7 A4 or S4 becaus ethe font is not at sport suspension height either. Once this is answered we'll start trouble shooting.

No I believe my struts were black.. I have coilovers now so they are in the trash. Where did you get the set up from? Is it possible someone just painted them?

Sorry, but I don't know what to say... can anyone else confirm the colors of the struts for the sports package in the B7 forum? You may want to post up there, and perhpas someone will have the answers for you. Good luck

I am going to assume you have the right springs, the shocks would not make your car that high even if they were non sport. Did you use sport bump stops or cut your non sport bump stops? Also, I can't remember if springs have a part number on them but check that also and post it up.

The Koni sport springs should work to your liking.. but be pre-pared for shortened strut life...

Strut life won;t be that bad, he has sport shocks which are made for a shorter sprng and are made by Koni if I am not mistaken. He should be fine, I'd just be pissed I got shafted on the springs.

Sorry to bring up an old thread especially with a dumb question but what do they mean when they say
Be sure to have the suspension loaded when you tighten bolts that go through rubber bushings or you could severly shorten the life of said bushings

    Thanks

Take a jack and jack up the suspension so that its at approximately the height it will be at when the car is on the ground. Then tighten all bolts

If I'm not mistaken, the rear suspension from the B7 A4 is different from the B6 A4. I believe some of the rear susspension components from the B6 S4 were applied to the B7 A4. I think this is a simple case of the wrong suspension installed on the car.

is there a kit we can buy for the b7 to replace any or the wearable parts while doing the suspension? I found some for the mk4 but not the b7. also will the springs still fit if you dont cut the bump stops?
