Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I've heard and seen in other threads that the intercooler made by cxracing selling on ebay is a pretty good intercooler and for a cheap price... I was killing time on ebay this morning at the job and now they sell it even cheaper

    such a good price too...

Maybe it's possible to get the endtanks mandrel bent backwards (towards the engine). So shitty the way it is right now.

    LOL yeah..

For $140 it's absolutely worth it... I mean it will be a huge improvement over the SMIC regardless

that was actually a members car, cxracing/justintercoolers found the pic on this site and used it to sell their product on ebay.
The FMIC is definatelly worth it. I had it when i was K03 and it did the job. There is a DIY fmic and all of the intercoolers are from that company.
They will send you some 90* piping, straights, and 45* pipes, and couplers for you to do the cutting to mount it.

Re: ebay intercooler cheaper than ever

I paied a bit more for the Godspeed kit, it was worth it imo, the intercooler piping has a inlet for the dv and the fitment is just better, the only gripe is that it uses the stock intake mani hose which will need to be replaced when I go BT. They rate the core for 400hp and I think I paied $350 shipped for the kit so I'm happy

Re: ebay intercooler cheaper than ever

140 is not bad beacuse it comes with pipes. I think it's a bit small - but w/o comparison IAT's who can tell what size is optimal.

I got my 28"x9"x2.75" for $90 - and same piping kit for $80, add shipping 30+30 since i ordered separately... so $230... yeah, that's a good deal...

Re: ebay intercooler cheaper than ever

does this FMIC fit behind the stock bumper with minimal cutting?

and is there a way for the pipes not to be all crooked like that?? looks kinda cheesy....i guess you would have to relocate the pump.......

This company is a Canada agent and I'm sure if you send them an email they could help.
