licence plate lights 6leds or 4leds

i have a 2002 a4..i want to get led licence plate lights..is it a festoon bulb with 6leds or 4leds?

I have never had a problem with mine and neither has my girlfreind. They are really cheap and fast shipping and they are the rite ones. If i remember correctly we have the 39mm 14.5v. And get them white please. lol

why does it say "We do not recommend the use of these LEDs on the following vehicles: Mk5 VWs, B6+ Audis." in the description?

i am was about to order them untill i saw the description.

i ordered them and they came in 3 days from 3000 miles away.
put them in today. no problem and no warning light.

on the page print out they give you it talks about how some VWs except jetta dont have any venting for the lights heat to escape
if not it says to drill a micro hole somewhere to vent it.

*i thought leds were "cooler" than incandescent lights?

i have had mine and so has my girlfreind with no problem. Also when u put them in test them before you screw them in because one way they will light up and the other way they will not.

To be honest the only problem that i have had, well not a problem is when my lights where on with the car of and then i turned the car on it said for a quick 2 sec that the plate bulbs were out but then it went away. I was told this happends because the signal from the LED,s is faster then the regular ones and the car misses it sometimes. (thats why they put that warning up. to let you know u might have a little issue here and there)

But everyone that gets them from 42DD has no problems

I have the 6LED bulbs w resistors for my licence plate and I bought them at www.superbrightleds.com. I've had them for 3 mths now.. absolutley NO problems!
