I think you rears have too aggresive of an offset...looks like they stick out too far?

Also does the stagger effect the ESP or the Quattro system at all?

the width of the tire doesn't matter.
its the circumference of the wheels that matter. i.e. 19s up front and 20s in back. thats the stagger that you can't do. if you can stuff 275s out back and 235s in front....its fine. as long as you keep 18s all the way around or 19s etc....your fine.

Are you telling me that if the fronts were wider then the backs that wouldn't make a difference? It might not trip the ESP or break the AWD but it would effect how the car drives.

In a staight line it probably does not matter but in the turn the change in width does matter and the turning radius does chance with different tire widths. Also with the staggered setup you can't put the same sized tires on both the front and the rear since the rim widths are different so you are limited in tire sizes if you want to keep the outside diameters the same for both the fronts and backs.

The suspension is setup to have a certain amount of turn-in and drive out of the corners. You just might get too much oversteer with a staggered setup - might even trip the ESP if it's bad enough.

Re: Lurker for a while Quick dirty pic

the reason it is soo high in the back is because it isnt lowered at all... still stock... im running a 17mm spacer in the back bc the spokes were hitting the calipers in the rear. im in a slow process of putting the 10mm spacers on n then lowering it back down
