A few questions.
Since the Linea Corsa line is essentially the same company as Rota, why do they cost twice as much?
Is is a superior wheel?
If so, how?
What type of warranty is offered?
I'm leaning towards getting a set.
Thanks for your help.
I'll chime in with some details to clear things up, what you mentioned is incorrect in many ways.
Linea Corse is not the same company as rota
Linea Corse US is imported by us, WheelDude.com. Any company getting Linea Corse in the US, gets it from us
But since they are made in the same factory as rota, i'll chime in about the pricing.
You say they cost twice as much, the only Rota wheels that are $650 for a set of 4 would be the 17x7.5 Rotas.
Now, lets look at 18x9.5 Rotas, they run $900...not quite twice as much anymore is it?
Factor in the mold costs of $12,000 per style, it adds up to cost us a lot more than a rota wheel.
As far as warranty, we warrant them against manufacture defects. I've been selling these exclusively for almost 2 years now and I have yet to have a customer calling me saying that he needs a replacement due to a bent or cracked wheel. The quality of these wheels is excellent, these are a very strong wheel and hold up great in the long run. You are getting what you pay for.
I know we're new to the audi market, but if you search 'linea' on e90post.com/forums you will see a ton of happy customers running these.
Just see this thread:

I hope my post clears any confusion there was/is about Linea Corse wheels
Thanks
