ABS and BRAKE lights flash and beep while driving

Once in a while my ABS and BRAKE lamps on the gauge cluster will flash twice or so each and the beeping noise indicating a warning will sound a few times as well and then it goes away..this started just a few days ago...anyone else have or had this issue? Or know why it is doing that?

is all of your brake pads good? also please check the brake fluid.

For me this was the ABS control module. Started intermittent and eventually the lights were always on. When the lights were on the ABS would not work. Here is a write-up that also includes some diagnosis info:

might also be the Mineral Hydro Fluid is low?

Yes, this is absolutely the problem. All A6s will succumb to this eventually. I can repair your module for $110 if you don' feel like shelling out $500 for a used one or $1000 for a new one. Email me: [email protected]
