Found this 4.2 widebody A6 on autotrader with no motor, and for cheep. Thought someone might want to swap the 2.7tt motor into it so one could have the widebody with the turbo motor. Now that would be sweet!

I guess not, I thought it would have been cool if you have some extra cash laying around.

    Re: Motor swap this anyone?

damn, you think you can buy the RS6 motor that cheep? I just figured the 2.7tt would be much cheaper and way easier to find. But if one can find a cheep RS6 motor, do it!!!

i think thats very possible the engine will cost you 10k-15k but the labor alone is going to cost another 10k! might as well buy one used since they go for the low 30s now...

Well, would'nt it be easier AND cheeper to do the 2.7tt motor? Now thats do-able and could still be done at a decent price. If I had the time and the grage space, I would prolly take a swing at it.

Widebody with stage3 2.7tt FTW!! (he is tip-tronic shifting lol)
