chain tensioner seals

i have some leaky chin tensioner seals. i have already bought the seals and the valve cover gaskets to replace. i read a writeup on audiworld about the tensioner seals and im not sure what is telling me to do with an allen head T handle to insert somewhere. does anyone know another source for a DIY on the seals, or possibly know what it means about the T handle? im lost and my car is burning oil off the manifold for a nice pleasant smokescreen out my RS4 grill. thanks
