I read that it really isn't a need to change them unless you are going stage 3. Don't really know, just something I read.

    Re: APR BiPipe

I have it on my car and am happy with it. It is not a performance upgrade, more for reliability long term as the OEM TBB is a weak point expecially for modded cars. Instead of just getting a stronger TBB (SAMCO), this also replaces the front plastic v-looking pipes that botl up to the TBB.. so it is ONE piece made of hard material... no cracking, flexing... more constant flow. IMO

    Re: APR BiPipe

just buy a silicone tbb. I mean i love the idea of the bi-pipe, but i have heard the can break too. I would always take the cheaper option if possible.

at least on the allroad, it is not a direct fit -- People have talked about modifying it slightly to get it to fit.

I went Samco and 710N. For the price, you can't beat it. ~$160 vs. $544

    Re: APR BiPipe

Nice upgrade but as said above not required, most are happy with the SAMCO TBB.. personal preference... ECS usually sells it also with the 710 DVs which is a more affordable package.... 710s are enough at least til yuo go stage 3 though some stage 3 have them

    Re: APR BiPipe

i might have to consider the TBB over that as well then... on another note, the Forge 007p that is provided will be a bit of a pain to get it working right... i started a thread about it a few weeks back and a few of us had problems with the DV not functioning right due to the size and vacuum hose. but it might be a small fix...

anyways, if you have 500-600bucks.. go for it.. to each their own...
