stasis ...how much should i drop????

stasis sl just arrived ...hre comps 19x9.5 on way...any advice on how much i should lower car?

you may rub with the 9.5" rims, I'd lower it slowly over time to make sure you can clear.... Nice choice in rims though, wish I had the loot to drop on HRE's.

sorry I meant original poster (OP) will be fine with 9.5 width wheels and shouldn't rub. I think WinterRunner missed that you had an RS4 rather than an S4. Anyway, most people looking to keep a respectable height (not scraping on everything) and improving performance aim for 25" ground to fender height. I personally like 24.75" but everyone obviously has different opinions on that.

It should state in their literature what they are designed for and most people pick the bottom of those limits. Definitely do not just go by "what looks good" without consulting their optimum range specifications. As a general rule they state...

Conservative Street Setup
Between 1/16 and 1/32 TOE IN front and 1/32 TOE IN rear
Ride height at 25.875” front and 26.000” rear
(–1.0 camber front)

Aggressive Street Setup
Between 1/32 and 0 TOE IN on all four corners
Ride height at 25.500” front and 25.625” rear
(–1.5 to –1.75 camber front)

Track Setup
Between 0 and 1/16 TOE OUT on all four corners
Ride height at 25.000” front and 25.250” rear
(–2.0 to –3.0 camber front)

But they may have SL specific instuctions that are even more specific.

My bad, I thought you had just an S4....... You should most deinitly be fine with 9.5".
