Legacy Spec B

What are your guy's thoughts on this car? Vs a B6 S4... I have been offered a great deal on this car for trade....

Too bad the Spec B never came in the wagon form...and too bad the Legacy GT doesn't come in wagon form any more either. I really like the legacy, and the Spec B a lot. I almost picked up the Wagon back in 2006 - but nope, ended up with an Accord instead.

NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING about that car will be like driving your Audi. They're not even close. Interior is very different, even somewhat cheap. The transmission is different feeling (doesn't the Spec B only come with the five-speed manual - or is it six?), the engine obviously is way different - and I may even say underpowered, the AWD systems, the list goes on.

i have to say that the interior is very nearly as good as in the audi. a couple material choices i'd do differently, but the seats are great, everything is pleasantly arranged and the sunroof is HUGE. all in all a nice place to be.
i eventually ended up in a b6 wagon, but if the spec b came in a wagon, i'd likely be driving a subbie today. very nice car.

test drive it at the very least before you rule it out as an option.

Not your Spec. B Legacy, but...

I went and checked out the new WRX STi today - I like it - a lot. It felt like a beast just wanting to be unleashed. Not like the S4's smooth V8 power. Interiors you can't even compare - but I do like the new STi seats up front. Pretty sweet actually. I can't get over the 'racer/ricer' aspect, but I would get one.

Im gonna go tomorrow and work some numbers on the Spec B...see what happens. Although I was watching some youtube videos and a Spec B Stage II+ runs a mid 13 1/4 at 100? is that right? Thats pretty slow for that modified.

I LOVE LGT's. I was considering one, but I dotn have the money to blow, so i may settle for a regular legacy.

The stock LGT's run 14.2's, dont they? people are always fucked up with their "stages" too. They could be talking about the Cobb "stage 2" tune. and nothing else.

I just drove a legacy gt today while test driving a s4 and pretty impressed to say the least. paddle shifters good hp and torque, alot nicer interior than I expected. Only this I didn't care for was the body roll I would of thought they would given it a stiffer suspension. Overall very nice car.
