I have stock suspension and was thinking about dropping the ride with h&r springs but I know coilovers are the best option when lowering the car, is the ride quality still going to be the same or worse?

Re: how is the ride with H&R Springs?

I have just the H&Rs in mine. The ride is not as good since the car feels a bit more "bouncey". If i was to do it again, i'd get the full CO kit.

In the meantime, I've gotten used to it so i'll just wait till my shocks give up.

The ride won't be the same, but you'll have better grip and handling ability.. as far as comfort, you'll feel every little bump in the road. Can you deal with that?

Also, I would upgrade your shocks if you plan on getting the H&R springs. Most stock shocks aren't equipped to handle the new springs, since the car is lower. It'll work, but the life of your shocks will go out the window rather quickly..

This is probably because the stock shocks can't handle the compression and recoil your highly compressed H&Rs have. They were designed to work together

i have been doing some research and if i'm not mistaken the stassis suspension drops your car a little bit and you get almost the same ride quality as the stock suspension. i could be wrong but if anyone has any input please let us know. thanks!

Mine rides fine, a little stiffer than stock non-sport suspension and handles waaayyy better. I have the H&R sport springs and Koni shocks

Stasis street sport coils for the win! Rides like the stock sport suspension, and handles way better. Especially when combned with an RS4 rear sway bar.

The ride is perfect. At least so far. I probably have 8k miles on mine and its a huge improvement.
