Any will fit with the GTRS as it fits in the stock turbo location. I would recommend an ER Comp if you want the best results

    Re: big turbo fmic question?

ER comp was designed perfectly for the GTRS elim kit. We just installed a black anodized ER comp on Gregs B6 and only took us about 2 hrs to get it installed, cut the rebar and get the bumper back on. Nice part is that the pipes fit perfectly to his elim, so we didn't need to make any modifications to the pipes.

Yes, the bottom section of the bumper support(rebar) needs to be notched out to allow the 3" thick ER core to sit up in that area. If the person doesn't want to cut the bumper support they can order the "Full" kit which includes a custom metal bumper support.

    Re: big turbo fmic question?

Yes, I prefered not to get the full kit, I modified my OEM rebar and am using a Setrab transmission cooler.

I also prefered not to use the T-bolt clamps as they are not necessary, the I/C is such a perfect fit that standard stainless steel clamps work perfectly.

The route I went may not be for everybody since it is so stealth, you cannot even tell that I have a FMIC, (most people that spend $$$ on a FMIC want to show it off) heck if you open my hood, you cannot even tell that my engine has been modified at all (unless you count the test pipe).

Measure twice, cut once. 4" angle grinder with a metal cutting wheel. Took all of about 10-15 minutes, basically I cut a C notch recess out of it for the intercooler to fit into.

To make the lines perfectly straight, I used 1" blues painters tape to mark the line I wanted to cut.

You do need to remove the rebar from the bumper, but this is not too difficult at all, I have done this before though with my old FMIC.

    Re: big turbo fmic question?

I sell the basic kit for $200 less than the full kit.

The differences are that the basic kit does not contain the ER rebar, transmission fluid cooler, hump hoses or T-bolt clamps.

This is the power steering cooler I went with, I will be mounting it where the OEM SMIC used to be at.

You can order it from 400HPA4 and it's very simple to install. Just use a write-up and post up here if you have any questions.

The Sport and standard Competiton kits from ER come with normal clamps.

If installed correctly and a good bead on the pipe(like Fred puts) then it shouldn't blow off.

Since we installed it on his car, each of us took turns running his car at 23-25psi at the BOTI event in Sacramento and the hoses held just fine. Last weekend his wife drove the car down to socal for the Socaleuro event and then back home.

No, not a chance in the planet they will. Regular hose clamps actually hold better than t-bolts if the piping is made correctly with proper beads.

Regular hose clamps distribute the load around the silicone much more evenly than t-bolt clamps do.
