    02 sport suspension Q's (different)

Haven't been able to find a clear answer to this here on on AW -- if I swap my stock base 04 suspension to an 02 sport suspension, will there be any camber issues? I assume not since it was a mfgr option, but perhaps that's the reason Audi went a bit higher the following year?

And while I'm here, what's a good aftermarket shock to pair with 02 sport springs? I was holding back on swapping to the 02 sport because I didn't want to put 100k-mile shocks on my 45k car, but as I understand it, I can swap shocks and still stay in the stock autocrossing class. I'm lowering mainly for aesthetics, though handlings improvements are welcome.

    Cheers,
    -Neil.

I run a little negative camber with my '02 suspension but I like the way it handles. I just have to keep the tires rotated. As for the shocks, look into Bilsteins, they make great products.

Re: 02 sport suspension Q's (different)

Any idea how much negative camber? On my B5 I ate through too many tires way too early (neuspeed sport springs), and the only way to help this was to rotate the tires on the rims (and re-balance). Since this B6 is a 99% daily driver, I don't want to have to deal with this.

I know there are now ways to correct that on the B6, but any suspension mods puts me out of the stock autocross class.

    Thanks,
    -Neil.

there is no reason why you would have camber issues. youre replacing a stock part with another factory one. audi made it to work fine as long as you have sport shocks if you are going aftermarket bilstiens are probably your best bet
