B6 AWE GT28R kit fit on B5???

I bought this kit from a fellow enthusiast that had a B6 A4 and I wanted to know if I would have any issues installing this in my car (99.5 A4 avant, 5 speed)? I realize that I should have asked this question before I purchased the kit, but I have no patience. Can anyone tell me where I can get a custom tune for this application or would I be able to use tune that some company has out there for a GT28R application? Sorry for the dumb questions, but I'm new to 1.8T's.

Did he have a high flow exhaust manifold for it? If so, it will not bolt up to your engine. You have a transverse engine while he has a longitudinal. Other than that, everything else should be a go . As for tuning, there are many tuners that exist. CTapp and Unitronics seems to be the most liked in the B5 platform. But you have others such as APR, GIAC, Revo, etc.

I thought that the AEB had transverse and the 01 had longitudinal. Or am I misinformed. Whoops. I knew mine is longitudinal and thought the older ones had transverse. Sorry for the wonrg info. Everything should bolt right up then.

Only transverse mounted engine is in the TT and A3 in the USA.

Thanks for the help, I got the injectors, GT28R turbo, Oil feed & return lines, 3" VR6 maf, Test pipe, Turbo inlet pipe. This is the same kit that is made by AWE for the B6 A4s minus software, injector adaptors and support bracket.
