I'm going to say I don't like them. I'm a fan of the OEM lights 02+. I have been looking for a set of those for my 4.2. Angel eyes and black housings don't justify the $350+.

I'm not a fan. I have seen them on ebay for <$300. They are halogen and I've heard they may melt if you try to retrofit stock HID into them.

You can split your headlights and paint them to look identical. There was a post on here a month or two back, don't have a link handy.

Does anyone have the AllRoad headlights on their C5 A6 / S6? Id be interested in seeing these as I too am looking at an alternative to the stock headlights off of my S6.

what rating are your HIDs? 6000k? and how long did it take you do to that mod?

What is the effect on halogen high beams? I'm surprised "popping off" lenses was easy.

I have it on my A6 I like it. lot of people didn't like because it's halo also.

it did not effect the high beams at all and the lenses did just pop off lol there where 2 clips on top one on bottom pop them off then took a flat head screw driver to a crack between the lense and the housing itself and just stated pulling at the lense and that was it really im going to add the led strip next this project was just kinda a sprue of the moment thing lol

it's plugged in internally with park light I haven't founf the wire to cut but I think it can prob be done.

So you have LED strips on with park lights (and therefore, of course, also with headlights)? Can you put up pic with parklights and LEDs only? I did same tie-in with fogs, so I run parking lights and fogs in dusk, pre-headlight hours or early am when wispy fog.
