new '08 s4 avant

i am new to this forum. i just traded in my 05 a4 avant and my 05 s4 sedan for a new 08 s4 avant tip. i probably got ripped on the trades, but is was a great time to purchase the new avant. along with my 08 mini cooper ''s" i have two great cars.

Cool. I just bought a 2008 S4 Avant also. It's practical and quite the sleeper, which I like cause my other car is NOT. Mine's silver; how about yours?

sorry for no pic's. in do time. anyway,impressions of my new car. the '05 had a great sound from the chains driving the cams,etc. this car doesn't have that sound, but it has a throaty sound from the new exhaust that sounds awesome.
my wife complains that the car is not as sporty. i think that the pedal is just stiffer. on another note, the new car has "nav plus'. this is a fantastic improvement over the nav available on the '05 b6. as far as handling and performance goes, the avant feels a little heavier, but, i like the new car's tranny's shift points and patterns.

i realize your enthusiam for "pics". could you guys just give me some space? my daughter is going to help me with some pictures. believe me, i am a true audiphile. i purchased my first a4 3.0 quattra sedan in 2003. i wanted a "s4", but it wasn't possible. well, in november of "05" i splurged, and bought a s4-tip. in 2004 i bought a 2003 1.8 quattro tt. i sold that car and traded it for a certified 2005 a4 3.0 ultrasport avant. i recently, purchased a mini-cooper s and decided that i needed to thin the herd. the audis went away, and now, i own a "08" b7 avant s4. a funny thing, my wife thinks that the wagon is a slug, but the pedal is just stiffer. the tranny has much better shift points and the exhaust sounds like a hardcore v-8 from a different era.the s4 avant is the ultimate "sleeper" rocket.
