    Re: Problem with coolant hose?

no, leaking coolant is never *normal*. if you have too much it could come out of the OVERFLOW hose, but again, you're too vague have no clue what you exactly mean

by the way thanks everybody for the help and also i checked the tank to make sure it wasnt cracked or anything and when i touch the dried up coolant it just peels right off and it seems to be coming from the hose as you can tell by the pics

    Re: Problem with coolant hose?

im thinking either the hose isnt clamped tight enough or the tank is cracked somewhere close by.

    Re: Problem with coolant hose?

Just disconnect one of the hoses directly below the tank and drain the coolant that is sitting in the tank. Then fix the problem. You don't have to drain the entire system.

you can do what jdm said but its probably best that you change it. Difficulty level on changing the part your self is the same as opening your door.

    Re: Problem with coolant hose?

you can drain the system from the radiator hose. thats how i did it. its on the bottom right of the car. theres a clip you need to pull from it
