To respond to the problem, BMW said it would extend the warranty to 10 years without any mileage limit for the following vehicles: 2006 6 Series, 2006 3 Series with standard seat, 2004-2005 Z4, 2004-2006 7 Series, 2006 X5 and 2004-2006 5 Series with comfort seats.

Soooo BMW recalls a relatively small number of vehicles for a problem that might occur but one single instance of the problem has not arisen, while simultaneously giving out free benefits to the owners for a small inconvenience.

yeah bmw safety does suck, in fact every car that isn't put out by Audi is crap..

seriously, nothing even really happened and BMW already gives you a ten year unlimited mile warranty? thats pretty damn good, all there cars are covered until 2016 thats rediculous. and tiesto bashes on anything non-audi and especially bmw & mbz so dont really give it any mind.
