will 245/40/18 tires work on B6 with sport suspension (USP)??..

i know wheel specs (width and offset) play into it, but i am still trying to get the wheel specs.. if anyone knows please chime in..

    specifically i'm referring to these..

i know the hubs are different, but the B8 wheels are larger than B6 hubs so it should work with rings..

    thanks ..

depends on the offset of the wheel & the tire (some tires run fat). But you should be allset. I am running 245's and have no issues with rubbing. No contact either on the street or track.

    the wheels are B8 5-spoke..
    18 x 8
    et 29

using the offset calculator, it shows these rims would sit the same as Sables (18 x 8.5 x et30).. he is running 235/40/18 and rubs a little in the front, but he is sitting really low on H&R race springs..

also fyi: B8 wheels have a 66.6 hub vs. 57.1 hub on all other audi's, so hub rings will be required.. Achtun!ng has them for $5ea..

You 'may' rub in the front w/ a 29 offset with a 245. i am running 35mm offset on a 18x8 with no issues. but 29 is pretty aggressive
