With my B6 before with 34K miles the dealer was going give me 24k for it. I ended up keeping my car.

My 04' w/52k on the clock netted me $21k on the trade for my current car. I know I took a beating on it, but I really wanted what I have now. In the end, that's all that really mattered to me. I plan on keeping this car for a very long time.

I was offered by BMW when I went to go test the 135i about 23K. Thats for a 2005.5 B7 S4 loaded, in near mint condition with about 55K on it........

Haha i almost threwup in the salesman's face the other day when I went to go look at a 135i and they said they would give $15K for my car.

Avant, 6 spd, Black, no body work, 65K miles, Hardly any imperfections in paint besides a few inconspicuous paint chips and paint is thoroughly cared for with my orbital at least once a week. I just walked out.

That's one of my favorite passtimes as well! It seems so easy to do sometimes.

Yeah dont get me wrong - there are plenty of good car salesmen that are respectable business men, but then again there are plenty of people you could have sworn didnt graduate from eighth grade and its like they just read the car salesman handbook. You can predict their every move.

About this time last year i went to scope out the 335i and the Bimmer dealer quoted me 30k for a 2005.5 S4, 6-speed manual, sprint blue, recaro alcantera white on black, w/ ~16k miles, no navi. I almost choked his a** out. I ended up selling it for 37k privately to a fellow AZ'r who to this day loves it to death.

B6 S4 has fallen alot and with higher miles, i would think about 21k for a trade is what you'll get anywhere you go. My friend just bought a 2005 B6 S4 6spd, with 33k miles for 24.5k Low mileage B6 S4s around here are selling around mid 20s, so figure 5k less on a trade in. If you're trading your car in, it all depends on what you pay for the new car. Good luck

I was at a dealer yesterday and they quoted me $16k for my car, I just laughed at him.....05 S4 55k miles, black on black, 6spd, and all options besides cold weather package.

i always said that there basically is no need for a car salesman... you should be able to put together the car you want online, then submit the order, and pick it up from an outlet, or facility... used car market is a bit harder since ppl have to take cars into inventory, and then sell, but even then there could be a better way than what we have now... especially with the whole dog and pony show with the 'let me speak with my manager...' crap.
