    Driving/shifting In TIP

Is it ok to let of the gas shift up and then get on the gas again (like shifting in a manual car) when driving in tip mode? Or should I just shift without letting off the gas? I find if I shift like a manual the shifting is quicker to engage to the next gear, but if I shift with the accelerator down it takes about 3 seconds. I used the first method on my Jetta MKV, but I don’t want to risk killing the tranny on my B7. Thank you in advance for your input.

doesn't really matter how you drive in TIP... just drive however you please. I have TIP... wish I didn't though.
