what is the offset and hub diameter on B8 wheels??..

crap, i just found a post by Achtung!ng debut the S5 replica for A5s.. it said the offset was 25 and would not work on a B6..

an et 25 may just be for the rep or for an S5 setup.. the 5-spoke A5 above, may be different..

For S5, 66.56mm hub, ET32 offset. I think the A4 offset is different, but hub is the same.

does anyone make hub rings??.. can someone make a set for me??..

specifically i'm looking at fitting these on a B6..


an et of 32 will sit pretty flush, but should fit.. i would guess 8", but i'll find out the width and offset for the specific rims for sure..

well i just got off the phone with the Audi dealership and Achtun!ng and i got the answers i was looking for..

the A5 5-spoke discussed in this thread is::
18 x 8
et29
66.6 hub
same ball-seat lug nuts

achtun!ng sells hub rings for $5ea..

using the offset calculator, it shows these rims would sit the same as Sables (18 x 8.5 x et30)..

I found a place near me that sells oem replica wheels on ebay, so I went to their shop to look at some 20" peeler replicas that I wanna get and saw on the box that the hub specs were 66.45. i told the guy that the audi A4 B8 hub bore is 66.6 and he said it was 66.45 and that they would fit the A4. he said he owned an A4 and now an A6 and he sells wheels for a living and that he knows they would fit my 2010 A4. I doubted him because I have read many posts here where forum members say our hub bore is 66.6. However, while I've read that our hub bore is 66.6, others have posted that it is exactly 66.56, but that you simply round off to 66.6. Another guy in the A4 B8 forum said the 2010 A4's have a hub bore of 66.45! See 4th post here:http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...95km-h-105kn-h


So which is it? And how can I know for sure? I called the dealer and they don't know so they got my number and said they'd call me back, but they never did! I looked in my car manual and those specs are not there either. Is it documented somewhere or is it all hearsay?

Don't think it would work.

If you really wanted to make sure you can ask to test fit the wheel, might get lucky and he'll let you!

That would be great, but unfortunately, this is a storage warehouse and they have no shop.

Does anyone know where I can find the official documentation for our hub bore spec?

I just called the guy again to clarify and again, he assured me that he's been selling wheels for Audi's for many years and that he's never had a problem. He said that even if it ISN'T a typo, 66.45 mm is not a big difference to 66.56 mm. Do you guys agree?

Will .11 mm difference make a huge impact?


If it does happen to be a typo and it really is 66.56, will the rest of the sizing info cause any issues? Will a 20x9, et35 be fine on an a4 b8?
