Mcguyvers Custom Xenon retrofit completed

finally finnished up both sides..
it was such a BEETCH getting the rotation perfect so that the lines meet up together, but i did it


high beams


custom foreground limiters, gives a clean/crisp definition of the light, theres a little orange/yellow color on that line (bars in lense are causing dark lines, clear lenses will fix this)



color way above line...a yellowish white..

the color emitted from the headlights just as you get near the cut-off

a little further down..

alomst at line..

the colors actually purple, not blue, but the camera is showing blue for some reason

and heres how damn sharp it is now, i just love driving at nite! that line bounces like crazy and draws some attention!



and im not done! im going to install 3in. clear lenses for an even sharper and more colorful line, and i also want to get mini chrome audi ring stickers made and put them on the black part of the headlight, just for a custom touch

you amaze me with your work with the xenons! Since you seem to know a lot about the lights what makes the high beams work? It doesn't seem like they get brighter just like a little flap is lifted up lol

good question, ive been using a HEAT GUN!!!!!

everyone swears by ovens and its retarded, why would you want to risk messing up your light by putting the thing in the oven and getting cancerous plastic fumes all over where your wife makes casseroles!! fugg that! not to mention its so much effort with pre-heating, oven mitts, ect...i'd rather aim the heat with a $10 heat gun from wal-mart that heats up instantly and have the lense off in literally 3 min!

and incase youre wondering i use a clear window sealant every time to insure a weather-tite seal, i may as well call my headlights submarines!!

re-heating the glue alone is only good like once or twice, but if youre like me, going on your 9th time, you need some more sealant!

since you have so much experience with the xenon lights. will you be accepting orders retroffiting halogen housing with perhaps s2000 projectors or the such? that may help lower the cost for many forum members who can't get their hands on oem projector housing just yet or are not willing to pay such a high price.

I have already bought oem projectors and bulb/ballast, so the my halogen housing is just going to sit in my garage. If you can work your magic with halogen housings, you can start a side job and help out some of us forum members.
