Im thinking about getting one, specifically a used magnum one. If you know me I freaking love wagons so out of the srt lineup it was obvious which one I would nab. My dealer has one for 23k with only 3k miles on it, I'm gonna go look at it tomorrow, there beasts, I would just use it for a DD really, that and doing donuts. And I know dodge is shitty, I dont care the cars cool, its under warranty, and its fast as hell. gonna be faster when im done.

Isnt 2008 the first year they put the SRT8 brand on the Magnum?
How are the already selling it for 14k under invoice?

yeah but looking and buying are two different things. I recently sold my 7er before the new one comes out, my M3 is sold as well, I'm selling my A6 on monday, and I had an evo for a couple of days and then I decided to back out of the deal. So now all I'm really looking at is the magnum, 300, and a couple others.

No the SRT8 magnums have been out for a while now, the new 2008's dont look that cool to me, so it works for me that they are changing body styles causing this one do devalue a bit. And yeah they are hurting, gas is too much and dodge, chrysler, jeep are really hurting financially, the car economy is shit right now.

That's beastly cerfus. I have a buddy with one, and it's a hell of a ride. My dad has a Chrysler 300 SRT8 as well, so I'm familiar with that engine. They are nuts!

That being said, I can't stand the fact that it's Chrysler...it just feels old inside.

I realize the automotive market for gas guzzling cars/trucks is horrible. I just didnt know they offered the Magnum in SRT8 till recently.
I test drove the Jeep SRT8 when I was looking for a new car and honestly it drove like a box on wheels. Cheap interior and a neck breaking stiff suspension. From what I hear they get 12mpg.

    Re: SRT8

Pass. I seriously considered the Jeep SRT8 and decided there are better cars to spend money on. Plus, SRT8's pretty much automatically label you as "douche", just read some of their forum conversations.

No shit, but heres the beef with the evo, way to stiff, way too loud in the cabin and even louder out side, interior is the worst thing I've ever seen, seats are uncomfortable, and everyone trys to race me, I get labeled as a young douche by 90% of the population, but its fast and pretty good looking.

The srt8 and the normal hemi are pretty damn fast, they have nice rides (at least the 300) interior is pretty nice, ill get nav and alcantara, sporty seats, and I have talked to people that have gotten around 25 on the highway cruising at like 65. PLUS if I get the normal hemi, it will have a lifetime powertrain warranty, and because I know a guy at this dealer thats struggling so much to sell these cars, I can get a nice price. The only downfall to me is that I wont get all the performance I want, but I'm planning on buying an E90 M3 in 2 years or so.
