    Where is the cheapest place to buy gt28xx or 50trim turbos?

    not china turbos....

    trying to piece together a turbo kit and save money at the same time ... if possible haha
    2001 Santorin blue :91 oct APR chip, atp 3" test pipe, APR stealth cat back, "dope" rear emblem, painted grill, clear corner mod, custom center vent VDO boost gauge, H&R race, 034 Snub, 034 n75H, Southbend stg5, Stoptech stage 2, A8 fat fives, CXracing 2.25 FMIC, DDM 5k HID.

    my friend is running saab turbo that he got a pick n pull for 50 bucks in his civic si. amazingly it had no shaft play and looked to be in good shape, but then again that is a civic

    how big is that saab turbo? what kind of power is he making? what flange does it use? t25?

    think its a t3 flange, he made 250whp @ 9 psi on a 1.8 ls vtec. but this was with one of his inj wires loose, wrong map sensor, 440s and leaky inj seats. he is about to put 750s and a 3 bar map.

    get a Holset HX35 for like $150, the rebuild kit is another $80 if you want a fresh new one lol

    just did some reading about the holset hx35, sounds pretty sick! they are putting some DSM's close to the 10's!

    anyone have anyidea where to find a used one....just ebay and craigslist? or does anyone know of a diesel truck forum with classifieds???

    Get a used garrett gt28 on Ebay. I bought my GT2871r for 600.00 used, and it's a great turbo!
    I do work around the South East on your 1.8t or 2.7t, PM for more info
