Boost Leak Help Chicago

Anyone want to lend a hand in testing for a boost leak? I'd rather have some guidance and or a pre-made tester than do it alone and screw it up. Case of beer if you come to me, pizza if I go to you.

I am located in Downers Grove.

BTW, I have the compressor at my house, just not enough time or will power at this time to make the damn tester and take 4 Polock hours trying to get it to work. I would rather work with someone, drink beer and do it that way.

its been a while with my a4...i might be a lil rusty at boost leak.

my parents live in DG as well. 61st and dunham. on the north side of south HS where dem big homes is. i'm usually around their house on the weekend.

which Amli? cuz I live in Amli at seven bridges...might have seen my dirty black s4.. I may be able to bring the real tester(not sure yet).. I need to know if it's going to be all 1.8T or is there 2.7T also.. PM me..

I'm still waiting on Aaronz to call me about meeting. and I'm not sure if it's worth to drive down here just for this. wouldn't it be cheaper to just take it to the dealer? and what's p0299?

There is no way I am taking my car to a stealership since my warranty ended this month and they'll charge me $400 just to find the problem. The P0299 is the underboost CEL code. "Charge pressure control negative deviation" to be exact. The CEL initially came on few months ago, but it went away. Then when I got my car chipped recently, it came right back. Took it to multiple shops, and they all told me to fix different things: DV, PCV valve, N75, pressure controller, and even my intercooler.
I need to do a smoke test to see if the leak in internal or external. Then I can narrow down the problems. Plus I like Chicago, I grew up there.

Sorry about that guys got a little busy and the thread got removed from my watched list somehow. I have to look at my work calendar and see what works for everyone.
