Is anyone with a 2002 B6 sport package running 17 x 8 with 245/45-17. Im looking at some oz 17 x 8 and they already have 245/40's on them. This is an autox setup so idk about speedo changes.

    Thanks,

it may change your tire diameter resulting in a speedometer false reading

I run 245/40's on '02 sport suspension without any problems. There should be VERY little difference in the speedo reading. Around 1% or so.

I ran 245/45/17 on stock sport wheels and 2003 sport suspension with no issues

    Re: 2002 sport pkg with 17x8 & 245/40

I know you were looking for 17's but I'm running 245/40 R18's (VMR 18 x 8.5) on 02 Sport suspension with no rubbing issues. At 70 I'm off by 2mph according to 2 different GPS's (my first GPS died last month)

    Hope this helps.

Elliott are you running these on the stock sport rims that are 17x7.5 or some other size. Thank you very much for responding. Others tried to answer my question but as im sure you know the 02 sport susp is just a little lower than the other years so I wasn't 100% sure.
