DPEs Carbon Fiber finish rims. Opinions Please!

I am planning on getting my rims refinished soon. Should I go with the carbon fiber finish with black barrels or keep the current look with black barrels. Saw these wheels in person at SoCal Euro GTG and they look really nice in person.

Since I have very similar wheels (black/polished rim Mayas) I think the black barrel would look better than the CF. An entire CF covered wheel looks cool but IDK about the lip only. Haven't seen it much so its hard to judge

They need to switch the carbon fiber from the lip to the center. It'd be too unnoticeable. Here's the main reason why you shouldn't get those, curb one and ask for a repair estimate. If they are repairable. 4 grand down the drain.
