Well, I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about and purchased the liquid clay and the polishing wax. It was a bit expensive, but I'll try anything once before knocking it. Well, I got my ride back from the body shop refinishing my bumpers, bonnet and that fender I F$^ked up. I went to the car wash, rubbed her down with the liquid clay and rinse off. The paint was supersmooth but was a bit dull. After I applied the polishing was this was the result. Enjoy.....

There are some sad cars in this thread, nevertheless. You really are supposed to wait about 30 days before you polish/wax fresh paint. I use the Turtle Wax Ice car wash and I like it, but I know there are better polishes out there so I never tried. Not bad though

    Re: Turtle Wax ICE

The car hasn't been buffed as yet I have to take it back next week. I never applied the clay bar to the freshly painted areas and the car sat for about 2 weeks before I had the chance to pick it up. So that adds up to 4 weeks.

    Re: Turtle Wax ICE

This is what I don't get about this forum. I browse this site often but care not to comment, I really keep my comments to myself unless I'm asked for my opinion. If I have a question I'll ask and maybe someone more knowlegeable will answer.
I ask the question...Do all cows eat grass?? Do they all look the same?? This is not in response to you personally, so please don't take it that way. It is a food for thought for everyone reading this thread. Too often I read junk threads about guys bashing each other, who's faster than the other and going back and forth with insults...It is just childish and immature! If an individual chooses to express his uniqueness be it by their cars or fashion sense it may be something appealing to him or her but its not for you. Live with it! True, some cars I've seen posted on this site or elsewhere are a little over the edge for my taste but it says something about the individual's personality so what's "sad" about it, or why does "the tail lights have to go"? Imagine if everyone liked the color orange, this would be a monochromatic world (orange cars, orange houses and clothing). So, the moral of the lesson is who cares. Do, what works for you! Be an individual, thats what makes you unique like your fingerprint. The thread is about Turtle Wax not about how sad someones car look...be a leader and not a follower. As a matter of fact, we can have fun with this subject. Look out for my thread and lets see how many will participate.

I tried the Tech wax before but I still prefer the 3 step kit. Its a long process but I think I like the results better. Somehow for the tech was is a little hard to buff off by hand, looks like you got grease spots. Maybe, its just me not applying it properly. Lets see how it how holds up after a few washes and acid rain.

I've tried it before but didn't like the results on my car but it looks good on your car. By the the way, where did you get your roof spoiler from? I like the way it looks.

I got it from Ereubini in Brooklyn, they were liquidating their inventory or discounting certain items. I posted the sale when I bought it. The fit is near perfect along the roof line. check them out at spoilers.com. I think I paid about $200. shipped.

When I purchased the tail lights, they looked at bit different in pictures. I would like to have them tinted but without using the tint film. I tried to contact jon's tinted tails in cali but no one ever answeres the phone. Does anyone know of somewhere that does this type of work.

    for trying something new.

I really like the way the liquid clay applies, Its consistency is like liquid wax but without the white residue. Just go back and forth motion instead of circular. I guess pretty much the same as a clay bar. I would recommend it, when I was finished the paint was smooth as glass. The paint was a bit dull after rinsing but when you apply the polishing wax it makes the car look wet. Give it a try let me know what you think.

I used ICE to get sap off my car....Awesome! Took some elbow grease but worked. I had about a thousand little specks of sap all over my car, had to do the whole thing.

audini no wonder they call it ice, your car looks like black ice... shits shiny as hell

since everyone is sharing their opinion about your car... i'd say tint the tail lights it would look pimp... i haven't seen many or any led tinted tails

Those of you wanting info about the rear wing here goes:http://www.spoilers.com/wings/audia6.htm

The price show in the ad is not the actual price. They are liquidating their inventory. I got mine for around $200. I'm pretty sure you can arrange for a better price if a group buy could be arranged.
