Just got Unitronic Software for B6 S4

After reading countless opinions on whether or not to get software for an S4 which is naturally aspirated, I decided to do it. Yes it's pricey ($550 plus tax) but I feel it made my car a lot smoother. Maybe it doesn't give me much more power but I noticed it shifts a lot quicker and smoother (tiptronic). There is no more hesitation and the car pulls through all gears, especially very hard in sport mode. Also, I feel that the car sounds a little deeper but that could be my imagination. This is the first mod I've done and am happy. I reccommend getting the Unitronic software and even if you don't like it there is a 30-day refund policy. To me the car now drives how it should. If you have an automatic S4 then you know what I'm talking about. No more lag. Hope this helps anyone thinking about making the move.

if you want to tell the difference....drive for the 30 days right...then get it taken out with the 30 day refund/try-out. If you notice a big drop in performance then get it again. you will notice more when you lose 5hp then when you gain 5hp.

I had a unichip on my old acura that I swore did absolutely nothing but mess with my head. I had it for 2 weeks and I said screw it....So I returned it. Let me tell you, the second it was removed I felt like I was driving the slowest CL in the world. Needless to say I never bought it again, but I know it worked.

Yea but wouldn't that mean he would have to pay for it again if he gets re-chipped?

Ant, did you drive the first or second gen CL? I had a pretty modded CL 2nd gen type S for quite some time. Actually kinda miss that car

Haha good deal man! I had EVERYTHING Comptech had to offer except the S/C as well, even had the RonJon Devotion rims...... Was the funnest FWD car I've ever driven, pretty quick too.... BTW yours a 01 or 02? Cant be a 03...

01....only made 800 sundance gold 01 CL-S' But i had 03 headlights, front grille, fog-deletes, taillights, and interior trim pieces.
