CEL -sharing my thoughts

So I recently got a CEL and took it to the dealer yesterday to get it checked. Turns out a fuel pressure sensor was damaged and needed to be replaced.
Has anyone encountered this problem? (I'm almost at 10k miles)

I also had them check on my steering column (there are threads about this before) because it sometimes makes noise when the wheel is turned all the way right/left (FYI -I have quattro) and they said my car was low on steering wheel fluid..

Has anyone encountered this problem?

Not exactly same problem...but my CEL came on at 168 miles (not even had my plate, yet). Turned out to be one of the Oxygen Sensors went out...

Are they sure it was a damaged fuel pressure sensor? It can happen that you get a low fuel pressure code when chipped and especially if you get an cam lobe or bucket wear.

Yeah thats what the tech said -plus, I'm running pretty much stock.

What kinda noise are you having? cause i have a squeaking noise when turned all the way or close and backing out of a spot. its really cheap sounding :(

I had that fuel pressure problem @ 13k miles. It was fixed in Penske; they said that problem is as common as PCV.

had mine replaced a few times. then they figured out to fix the pcv. still throwing fuel pressure codes. im hoping that a fuel pump upgrade may end the madness.....
