Stupid key question

I have a key that no longer works with the remote buttons to lock and unlock the doors. I replaced the battery, that did not help. I followed the instructions in the manual to pair the keys, that did not help either. Anyone have any suggestions? I can start the car fine with the key and insert it in the door to lock and unlock, but the trunk button and lock/unlock buttons don't work. The other key works just fine.

Have you been throwing the keys hard against a wall or the ground repeatedly because its just fun to do? You may have had some solder points come loose or detach inside the remote. Supposedly the code is cut into the key itself some how and that may be why your key still works for your cars ignition. I would also try sticking the key in the key hole for door and turn it a few times. I thought I had read about the remote getting unprogrammed sometimes and that being a fix but I'm not sure.
