Redline Synthetic Motor Oil, Any good?

well i have another question about oils. Im doing my first ever self done oil change on my car. My buddys shop (where im doing the change) carries:

Redline Synthetic Motor Oil: Our 5W40 engine oil provides for quicker lubrication and easier start-up. Reduces turbo lag and provides more power and economy in a properly functioning engine, while providing 25% thicker oil films than a petroleum 5W40 or 10W40. Recommended for many late-model European vehicles and as a factory fill replacement in many newer VW, Porsche, and Mercedes Benz applications.

Do any of you guys on here use/ or herd of this oil? is it any good? Since i got my car 2 years ago i have only been using Motul and Elf oils. should i stick to one of those two oils or is it ok if i use the redline synthetic oil?

There are some people whom would only use Redline in their cars. It is good stuff. I will eventually give it a try, if I can find a local dealer. The ones that people like to run with (not on the Audi approved list) is Royal Purple (which I am currently running), Redline, Elf and Motul.

I've been to Toronto before visiting some people and seeing oil prices even at Wal-Mart made me cringe. How much is that per Liter/Quart?

    Great oil BTW
